How to make a Zong

You can make your own Zong in three simple steps.

Step 1 - Create your own song
Step 2 - Contribute
Step 3 - Merge into Zong!

Step 1 - Create your own song

Go to the Home Page -> Create. In the example we set:

Artist: Meli
Song: Happy Birthday Grandpa!
Slug: meli-happy-birthday (for easy access at https://zongio.com/song/[YOUR_SLUG!])
Duration: 30 (seconds)

Step 2 - Contribute or import the first video

Contribute or import your favourite Tiktok or Youtube clip. Imports must be shorter than your set maximum song duration, in this case 30 seconds. The first video will play in everyone else's earphones while contributing, so they can sing in synchrony.

Contribute to be the leading voice for everyone to follow

Contribute with your voice and/or your music instrument of choice, such as piano, guitar and more.

Alternatively import a template

Using a template will add a dimension of completeness to your video, and help your friends and family listen to it whilst they record their part. On desktop, you can right click any of these videos to download, and import them into Zongio.

Step 3 - Merge into Zong!

Finally merge your videos into a Zong with one click.
